Day 34: Albright College

I toured the campus yesterday with my friend, but am playing catch up today, so am blogging about it now. Albright is a small, private liberal arts college in Reading, PA. It was founded in 1856 and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It has four chapels on campus, but chapel services are not regularly held.

About 1,800 students attend the college, which has a rather compact campus located on 13th Street in the northeastern side of the city. People can actually go from kindergarten through college on 13th Street, as there are elementary, middle, and high schools located along it to the south of campus.

In addition to the school, Chuck showed me some areas just outside town. One was a small reservoir, the other a popular park with a covered bridge. I've included a few of those photos here also.

Antietam Lake. The dam was built in 1874.
